Institutional management
The management agency of Liukeng Scenic Spot is the Liukeng Administration Bureau, a department-level institution directly under the county government. Liukeng Administration was established in February 2005, its predecessor was Liukeng Cultural Relics Administration (established in 1998).

Liukeng covers an area of 3.61 square kilometers, surrounded by green mountains and surrounded by rivers on three sides. It was built during the Southern Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties (937-943 AD).
