Liukeng Nuo dance, according to word of mouth, originated from Dong Dunyi, the sixth ancestor of the Dong family in Liukeng. According to legend, in the early years of Emperor Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty, Dong Dunyi, who was the censor of the imperial censor, was sent to Khitan to negotiate peace and was forced to stay in Khitan for many years.

During the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a handsome young man in Liukeng Village who was eager to learn and over 20 years old, called Dong Dunyi. Because he came from a famous family, his ancestors were from a scholarly family, and he married the third daughter of Zeng Bogu, a rich man in Bakou Village, Yongfeng County. However, due to the early death of his father Shizhong, Dunyi's family became increasingly poor soon. After a few years of marriage, Dun Yi almost reached the point where he had no food for the winter and no clothes to keep out the cold. He was a famous poor scholar in the village at that time. Just as the days became more and more embarrassing, the father-in-law was celebrating his 60th birthday again. The couple did not know what to do, so they had to bite the bullet and borrow money from the neighbors to buy gifts.

Liukeng Ancient Private School--Jiangdu Academy

Jiangdu Academy, commonly known as Wenguan, was built in the late Ming Dynasty. There is a courtyard in front of the building, and the library building in the west is connected. The main body is a three-entry brick and wood structure. The Wenguan attaches great importance to decoration, and there are mainly three kinds of decoration methods: wood carving, wood carving and color painting. Provincial Patriotic Education Base - Introduction to Liukeng Ancient Village

Liukeng Ancient Village, Le'an County, on August 7, 1997, the director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage Xinran wrote an inscription "the first village through the ages"; on August 22, 1997, the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government specially approved it as a historical and cultural protection zone in Jiangxi Province; June 2001 On November 25, it was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council; on November 28, 2003, it was announced as the first batch of famous historical and cultural villages in China by the Ministry of Construction and the Cultural Relics Bureau. In December 2012, it was announced as the first batch of traditional Chinese villages in the country. 1.
